An anarchist group in Albury Wodonga?

There is currently no active anarchist group in Albury Wodonga. I am hoping to locate people interested in a semi-regular informal meeting of anarchists in the Albury Wodonga area.

The purpose would be:

  1. To locate and get to know anarchists and persons interested in anarchism in our area;
  2. To find out what we have in common;
  3. To build links between like minded people;
  4. To see what flows from there.

If you live in the Albury Wodonga area and consider yourself an anarchist, why not get in touch? If you know someone who might be interested, please forward them this message.

There is also a Facebook group, facebook.com/anarchyaw

To get in touch with me, email kieranbennett@gmail.com, phone 0430509913, or use the ‘questions’ link on the sidebar.

Magazine

A new collaborative publication, Sedition, is due to launch in February. I hope to make it available on the La Trobe University campus in Wodonga.

If you’re interested in obtaining a hard copy of this publication and some other anarchist pamphlets, please get in touch.

Blog

Anarchist Perspective is a new blog that seeks to provide regular anarchist commentary on events in Australia.

Camp Anarchy!

An exciting event coming up in March. If there is interest, we could arrange a carpool for the Albury Wodonga area.

"Anarchists oppose the idea that power and domination are necessary for society, and instead advocate more co-operative, anti-hierarchical forms of social, political and economic organisation.”
